Orange Day

Colours speak all languages ~ Joseph Addison
PP2 children celebrated their first online celebration – Orange day on 11th of June with equal enthusiasm proving that learning is not just confined to the classrooms and has no barriers. Children and teachers all dressed in orange logged into the class with excitement. Children were shown objects and videos in orange. They were asked to show one or two things that are available in their home, which are orange. Later, they participated in a fish palm painting activity to culminate the day.
Children were provided with umpteen simple examples to reinforce the concepts of sorting, odd one out, memory games, counting, etc. For Instance, learning ODD ONE OUT, using two spoons and a fork, two glasses and a bowl, etc. To keep up the excitement, children had brain booster fun filled activities such as Simon says, Animal dance, Dance break, Zumba, etc.
