PET Day

PET Day- A ‘pawfect’ celebration in the Foundational Years Section at HPS, Begumpet
It is believed that ‘An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language.’
Our FY-PP1 students had a paw-some time celebrating Pet Day! They brought in their favourite furry friends, and had a tail-wagging good time. They met some amazing pets, including: dogs, fish, rabbits, turtles, doves and love birds. The little ones were super-thrilled to see the pets and enjoyed the whole experience. There was a lot of excitement and squeals of delight. All the children were told about how pets add value to our lives by giving us unconditional love. The children learned about different types of pets and their needs. The main purpose of organising Pet Day was to make them aware of different types of animals and their habitats and to create a sense of responsibility in the hearts of our children with regard to animals. Our primary objective was to sensitise the children to all living creatures around us. The more fortunate of these species are adopted by humans as pets. The bond between humans and pets is indeed special and unbelievably beautiful!
