Primary school children’s day celebration

Children are akin to clay that can be moulded into articles which can hold knowledge, understanding and values which are imparted by the potter.

This year Children’s Day coincided with Diwali making 14 th November, a doubly exciting day in a child’s life.
We at HPS celebrated Children’s Day on Thursday, 12th November,2020.

Our Virtual Children’s Day embarked with a prayer song rendered by the Music teacher Mrs Jayashree Ganguly followed by a very entertaining skit put together by the Telugu Department.
The teachers of class 1 spoke about the importance of Children’s day and presented a pre-recorded special program performed by them – Kuchipudi dance, Fancy dress, a skit on online classes ‘ Naughty gang’, Story telling, Freestyle dance and Action song. There was sheer bliss on every child’s face to watch their teachers perform.

Knowledge, creativity and values are few of the essential aspects present in a child. Class II children were treated with cartoon shows.

Class III children were treated with an assortment of video clippings of kids favourites that kept them completely engaged , entertained and signed off with the immortal song So Long Farewell from the all time classic ‘The sound of Music’.

Class IV and V children enjoyed watching their fellow eaglets dancing and singing. They also had fun watching their favourite cartoon movies.

The children felt excited, appreciated and loved throughout the celebration. On the whole the students and teachers had a very memorable and refreshing Children’s Day Celebration.
