Recitation Competition – A fabulous showcase of recitation skills in Foundational Years
‘When voices unite, magic happens.’
The objective is to give our students the opportunity to develop phonological awareness and fluency in speech, promote teamwork and collaboration among students, enhance memory and concentration skills through recitation.
Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students of Pre- primary, Recitation Competition was organised in the school on 26 th for PP2 and on 27 th for PP1. Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. Our tiny tots recited poems ‘The first day of school’, ‘Let no one steal your dreams’, ‘I love to Read a Mystery’, ‘ I am super excited’, ‘Recess Oh! A Recess’, ‘My teacher calls me sweety cake’, to name a few.
Our students were excited and enthusiastic about the competition.
