Round Square International Conference, Indore was held from 3rd Oct to 7^th Oct 2019. It was hosted by The Emerald Heights High School, Indore. It was attended by two students of class 12 and Round Square Rep: Sunita Modi and Principal Dr. Skand Bali.

 

It was attended by 1100 delegates from 6 continents, 70 nationalities all under one roof. It was truly an honor for them to carry the school flag amidst 180 other acclaimed global schools.

 

The meeting was graced by eminent personalities like

Kailash Satyarthi( A Nobel piece price recipient and Founder of Bachpan Bachao andolan ),Shashi Tharoor(A well-known politician and economist Who spoke about Democratic India),Sophia (An AI marvel and the first humanoid robot citizen)

 

,Kiran Gandhi (A Dance Music Producer, drummer and Female Activist),Major DP Singh (India’s first Blade Runner),Gaur Gopal Das (who spoke to us how good attitude leads to a good life).

 

After every session they had Barazza sessions where they had intense discussions and heated debates about various global and international issues.

 

Round Square organized a morning marathon for cancer with the blade runner Major DP Singh leading it. After the run each school had a tree planted at the Indore cancer foundation.

 

The highlight of the conference was the service programs which involved activities with the blind and underprivileged and painting murals in various parts of Indore. It was an enthralling experience listening to the inspirational speeches.
