The department of Physics runs with a vision of encouraging freedom and originality in thoughts, providing individual hands on experience and activity based learning. We aim and work for the ever challenging growing needs of education by affiliating ourselves to dynamic and rigorous curriculum offered by CISCE. The department is growing in time with its well equipped and renovated laboratories with modern experimental set ups. It is well illuminated and can accommodate almost 50 students at a time .Experimental set ups include Biprism apparatus, Spectrometers, Cathode ray tubes, Induction coils, Travelling microscopes, Astronomical telescopes, Electronic circuits with transistors on board, Newton’s rings apparatus etc. As a part of curriculum students take up experimental and investigative projects which helps them in developing scientific attitude.
The students are encouraged to give their investigations in the form of reports where emphasis is laid on their writing and presentation skills. The students are given opportunities to participate in various fests and Exhibitions. The department also offers Electronics as one of the optional subject at the plus two level. The department has good collection of standard text books as reference material and also books to refer for various competitive examinations. The department also has a common laboratory with the other science subjects to conduct activities for the middle school children.
The students are encouraged to give their investigations in the form of reports where emphasis is laid on their writing and presentation skills. The students are given opportunities to participate in various fests and Exhibitions.

Chemistry
The aim of the Chemistry Department is to provide a broad foundation in Chemistry which stresses on scientific reasoning and analytical problem solving, with a molecular perspective. Our students understand the interdisciplinary nature of Chemistry and to integrate a broad knowledge of Mathematics, Physics and other disciplines to a wide variety of chemical problems. Along with that, they learn professionalism, teamwork and the application of basic ethical principles. It is our goal to cultivate a scientific temper in students.
The students are encouraged to give their investigations in the form of reports where emphasis is laid on their writing and presentation skills. The students are given opportunities to participate in various fests and exhibitions.

Biology
The Department of Biology follows ICSE and ISC curriculum prescribed by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. The Department aims to provide comprehensive education that stresses on scientific reasoning and problem solving across the spectrum of disciplines within biology. Teaching is also interwoven around values that will lead to scientifically informed, caring and responsible individuals who can think critically and make informed choices about themselves, the environment and society.
The supporting facilities like smart classes and well-equipped common science laboratory & Biology laboratory have played key role in transforming teaching to a student-centered approach. The sprawling campus with rich flora and fauna is used as a part of nature’s pedagogy.

Computer Science
The Department of Computer Science follows ICSE & ISC curriculum as prescribed by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. The purpose of computer education is to provide young people with a greater awareness of computers in their lives enabling them to hold an informed opinion of the uses of computers in whatever context they meet them. In this new age digital world the students are made aware of cyber safety and cyber ethics. Higher class students are exposed to the depth of programming world in JAVA with an objective to develop their problem solving skills.
Computer Studies is a compulsory subject for the students of classes 1 to 8. The subject is introduced in Class 1 with basics of handling computer as a machine, further it progresses to fun way of learning programming basics with Scratch in Class 5 & 6, goes on to introduction of Java programming in Class 8. The students of Classes 9 to 12 develop higher order thinking with in depth programming in JAVA.
Apart from the regular curriculum the students are exposed to various technology competitions like digital photography/design, short film making, IT quiz and robotics. The integration of various subjects with ICT, has enabled our students to develop projects for various subjects with the help of digital tools from Microsoft, Adobe and Google platforms.
The four fully equipped computer labs across the school not just cater to the needs of Computer Science, but also allow various personalised learning tools of other subjects to the students. The department of Computer Science has six teachers handling subjects Computer Studies, Computer Applications and Computer Science for classes 1 to 12. Additionally the IT department has one system administrator and hardware technician for the maintenance of IT infrastructure of the campus.
