Celebrates the Class of 2023’s Triumphant Graduation”

The Hyderabad Public School – Begumpet hosted its Class of 2023 Graduation Ceremony on 17th June 2023. The event took place at the packed Shaheen auditorium, where family and friends gathered to celebrate the students’ achievements. Mr. Himanshu Tambe, CEO and Co-Founder of COSMODE Consultants, an alumnus and former Head Boy from the class of 1983, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

During the ceremony, the Chief Guest felicitated the 103 graduating students with Diplomas, mementoes, and book prizes. Furthermore, 39 meritorious students were awarded gold medals for achieving the highest percentages. The choir performed the School Song, evoking a sense of pride among the outgoing eaglets.

Various esteemed teachers, salutatorians, and valedictorians praised the Class of 2023 for their dedication to the school and their classmates. Mr. Himanshu Tambe, in his congratulatory speech, acknowledged the role of teachers as “unspoken angels” behind the students’ success. He expressed his privilege to be invited back to his alma mater and encouraged the outgoing batch to develop their own formula for success like all the alumni of HPS have.

The valedictorian, Sri Rajitha Valluri, from the Commerce stream and the ISC topper, reminisced about her first day at school and expressed her deep love for the institution. She thanked the teachers for their unwavering support and congratulated her classmates on their collective success.

The Headboy, Ankith Suhas Rao, received the Palem Srikanth Reddy Gold Medal for Highest All-round Achievement, recognizing his active involvement in the school’s Decarbonize team and his representation of India as the youngest delegate at the COP27 conference in Egypt.

Another notable awardee was Pratyay Gopal Reddy R, recognized with the IDL Chemical Gold Medal for being an outstanding outgoing student. He showcased exceptional talent in technology and demonstrated a remarkable scientific mind. Corporal Goli Meenakshi, displaying outstanding leadership skills and unwavering commitment to her duties, received the Umesh Chandra Memorial Gold Medal for being the Best NCC Cadet for the academic year 2022-23.

Dr. Skand Bali, the Principal, expressed his emotions on witnessing yet another batch of Eagles achieve success and prepare to soar high. He commended the students for their determination and tenacity, stating that their exceptional performance showcases their ability to fight for their dreams and accomplish their goals. Dr. Bali highlighted the significance of the batch graduating during the school’s centenary year.

The ceremony concluded with the 103 graduates, dressed in blue and white, tossing their caps as a symbol of their readiness to conquer the world after graduation. The school and teachers expressed their anticipation for the student’s future endeavors.
