Special Use Vehicles Day
As an extension of Transport Day, children of PP1 celebrated ‘Special Use vehicles’ over a week where they learnt about Community vehicles.
Children were shown a presentation on community vehicles to teach them about their importance. The use of emergency vehicles, such as police cars, ambulances and fire trucks, along with other service vehicles like garbage trucks was discussed. Using dough, chickpeas and rolling pins the children were taught the use of a road roller. To conclude they watched rhymes on the ‘Special Use Vehicles’.
