Student exchange to Europe

Global integration and international mobility have increased tremendously in the past decade. As a result of this the need to nurture and keep the students aware and help them be appreciative of different cultures, traditions and religions that are different globally becomes a part of education to make them have sense of global citizenship, Because adapting to life in different cultures is not easy and is a great learning and will work as catalysts for international learning at a young age .As a part of this endeavour The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, Hyderabad with the help of  Good Will Society has organised an exclusive European Expedition & Exchange Program May 2019 from 16th May 2019 to 30th May 2019.

The 8 student group was lead by the Principal Dr. Skand Bali,  and under his able, progressive and open leadership, the students have returned home with enhanced intercultural understandings, sharpened self awareness which can help them progressively pursue knowledge, develop skills and behaviours that will help them to become active and informed global citizens.

The Expedition Started on 16th May 2019 with a visit to BMW Welt, in Munich and then moved on to Alps in Salzburg and Zakopane where the nature was at its best. Then the Expedition moved on to the World War 2 sites in Auschwitz, Krakow. And the final part of the expedition was the exchange with a 97 year old  school Oberschule Am Barkhof in Bremen, Germany where all the students had the host families taking care of them and being part of the school programs which were fun as well as enriching. The expedition ended after a brief city tour of Dubai on 30th May 2019, where the parents were happy to see and receive their children with their rich experiences that they have gained in two weeks.
