The World Students’ Day – 2023- Class 2

In honour of the late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, a remarkable educator, aeronautical scientist, and former President of India, the world comes together every year on October 15 to celebrate World Students’ Day. Dr. Kalam’s outstanding contributions to students and the field of education are commemorated on this special day.
On October 13, 2023, the students and teachers of Class II in our Primary Block organized a vibrant and engaging celebration to enlighten all our young learners about the remarkable life and achievements of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
The day began with enthusiasm and reverence as our students gathered to pay tribute to this great visionary. Through a series of thoughtfully planned activities, we aimed to instil in our students the values of hard work, determination, and perseverance, which were epitomized by Dr. Kalam throughout his life.
The event’s highlight was a collection of inspirational videos that shed light on Dr. Kalam’s extraordinary life journey. These videos captured his struggles, his relentless pursuit of knowledge, and his unwavering commitment to his dreams. Our students watched with rapt attention, taking away profound life lessons from the experiences shared by this illustrious scientist.
To encourage creativity and self-expression, students participated in a collage-making activity. Each student was asked to bring a quote from Dr. Kalam that resonated with them, which served as the foundation for their artistic creations. With enthusiasm and creativity, students crafted colourful and imaginative collages in their respective classrooms.
The culmination of their efforts was a vibrant display of collages, which adorned the Primary School Bulletin Board. Each section of Class II proudly showcased their unique creations. These collages not only added a burst of colour to the school environment but also conveyed the essence of hard work and perseverance in achieving one’s goals. The Bulletin Board became a powerful testament to the indomitable spirit of Dr. Abdul Kalam.
Our celebration reminded us of the importance of education, hard work, and determination. Dr. Kalam’s legacy continues to inspire our students to dream big and work towards their goals.
