Transport Day 2019
A day dedicated to teach children about the different modes of transport was Wednesday 4th September 2019, by the classes of PP1. A special assembly was conducted with a few children talking about everything that was on display.
The corridors were converted into realistic looking roads that were completed with a traffic signal, zebra crossing and almost every type of road transportation vehicle. A scene depicting various types of air planes, rockets, helicopters and other form of air transport were also displayed. The different types of boats were placed in a pool to showcase water transportation vehicles.
A construction site, a fire station, a metro station and a railway station were also exhibited. Other than modern day transportation, animals that were used as transportation before the invention of the wheel were put on display. Children were taught about the importance of safety rules while travelling.
